BACKGROUND
The Improvement Specialists facilitate and support improvement activities within IKEA IT Production through expert knowledge in Lean and other methodology and tools. We continuously work to improve our services in order to provide higher quality at a lower cost to our business partners.

IMPROVEMENT SPECIALIST
As Improvement Specialist you will be responsible for the area Application Recovery.
This will include:
- Provide structure, methods, templates and general means to those in charge of implementing improvements within IT Production.
- Work hands-on in the line organisation to enable identification and implementation of improvements in order to reach agreed goals.
- Secure that process improvement opportunities are d irected to responsible Lead Process SME.
- Facilitate meetings, workshops and trainings.
- Reuse and share experience and knowledge from improvement initiatives.
- Maintain and develop the improvement methodology toolbox at IT Production.

IS THIS YOUR NEXT STEP?
To be successful in your role we believe that you have:
- Deep ITIL/process knowledge.
- Deep technical IT knowledge.
- Experience of large IT landscape and global organizations.
- Knowledge OpAM (Operational Architect Model).
- General Project Management knowledge.

It is meritorious if you have experience:
- Working in a multicultural environment.
- Working as technical Project Manager.
- Working in an outsourced environment.

We believe that you have a strong ability to communicate with people at all levels creating trustful relationships, being service oriented comes natural. You have the ability to coordinate and lead activities and shows great leadership capabilities with a drive to make things happen. Structure and planning is your normal way of working where you have the capability to identify opportunities to improve the daily work. Fluent in English.
