IMS Test Engineer

Responsibilities and Tasks
Responsible for handling post-delivery support for customers
Perform project planning, delivery, release management, and deployment to ensure technology standards and business needs are met.
Review of technical artifacts (Design, User guide, Release notes, System requirements, Test plans and Test reports) generated by the team
Responsible to prepare estimation, Work break structure with help of team
Performing Root cause analysis on key issues
Play scrum master role as part of execution of the project.
Managing a team of 10 to 15 members driving timely deliverable of project milestones.
Leading thought leadership activities in collaboration with PLM.
Requirement analysis, Testcase design, Testcase Preparation and review
Perform Manual & Automation Testing
Perform protocol level testing on IEEE 802.11 specifications (a/b/g/n/ac/ax (WIFI 6)) protocol stack.
Setup and test Mesh networks (Third party/proprietary)

Skill Set
Testing experience in LTE Packet Core - MME, SGW, PGW or 2G/3G packet core - SSGN, GGSN Gateways
Good Understanding in one or protocols in the domain - NAS, S1-AP, GTPv1, GTPv2, RANAP, MAP, Diameter protocols
Good knowledge of EPC/LTE interfaces S1, S5/S8, S11, S4, Gn
Knowing Gx(PCRF/Policy Interface) and Gy(prepaid/online charging) in addition, brings in additional weightage.
Very Good Understanding of 3GPP specifications
Experience with WIFI - PHY, Functional, Performance & Stability testing
Excellent debugging skills, Capability to articulate defects in detail
Excellent Written & Verbal communication skill
Experience working as a member of an agile delivery (Scrum or SAFe) team
