IN-HOUSE LEGAL COUNSEL

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Under the Head of International 1 Legal Department’s supervision:
- Oversee all regulatory and compliance matters to ensure appropriate practices in Sweden ;
- Provide labor law, social security law and taxation support, partnering with the HR department and the sales divisions to achieve their commercial and strategic objectives in a legally-compliant manner ;
- Draft, review and propose modifications to commercial agreements and other contracts ;
- Liaise with local insurance brokers, implementing and managing insurance policies compliant with the Group’s standards.
- Supervise, coordinate, monitor, give advice and identify key issues in ad hoc projects ;
- Provide litigation support to external attorneys ;
- Interface regularly with the General Manager, the CFO and the Head of International 1 legal department ;
- Work on special projects assigned by the Head of International 1 legal department. This project work normally involves research and recommendations on matters having company-wide significance.
- Assist the Group Legal Department on corporate issues and especially in connection with the board and shareholders’ meetings of the Swedish companies of the group;


PROFILE
- You have a Master in law and have an interest in labor, commercial and tax law (a post-graduate qualification labor or tax law would give added value) ;
- You have a very good knowledge of the Swedish social and tax Law ;
- You have 5 to 8 years of experience, a prior experience in a well-reputed law firm is a must ;
- You are flexible and pragmatic and dispose of a stress resistant personality ;
- You have strong analytical skills and are capable to work in a challenging, dynamic and international environment ;
- You look forward to taking on a varied workload (both administrative and legal aspects) ;
- You have an eye for detail, a proactive approach, and are able to meet commitments and deadlines ;
- You are fluent in English; a good knowledge of French is an asset.
