We are looking for a scientist with passion and experience in experimental design and great knowledge of in vivo studies who could take on the role as In Vivo Pharmacokinetic Scientist for 12 months. You will be part of the In Vitro and In Vivo Science team where in vivo and in vitro studies are performed followed by bioanalysis. As an In Vivo Pharmacokinetic Scientist, you will design and execute inhalation studies in rodents, integration and interpretation of scientific data in close collaboration with DMPK leads to support PKPD (Pharmacokinetics and Pharmacodynamics) work in projects from target selection to LCM (life cycle management). You will work closely with other In Vivo scientists within Early RIA as well as from the Animal Sciences and Technologies (AST) department. You also need to interact efficiently with compound management and drug formulation scientists. The data produced is mainly to drive pharmacological discovery activities. The role requires interactive, effective communication to provide clear data from carefully performed laboratory work as well as guidance to project representatives. It is also required to act as an example to other scientists and contribute to the overall team delivery. You will have the opportunity to contribute to the discovery of new life changing medicines for patients and demonstrate and witness what science can do.

Vem är du?
Essential requirements
• PhD in a relevant discipline or MSc complemented with an extensive proven track record of in vivo work
• Required and valid education for compliance to work with live animals in Sweden
• Hands on experience in animal handling
• Analytical skills related to in vivo research and data analysis
• Understanding of statistical methods, quality control including data reporting and archiving
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent English, both verbal and written.
• Ability to engage, communicate and collaborate across boundaries with a problem-solving attitude and focus on delivery.

Other preferable skills
• Experience of specialized in vivo techniques in the respiratory area
• Basic understanding of Pharmacokinetics (PK)
