We at Randstad Life Sciences are currently looking for in-vivo scientist for future full-time consultant positions.

Responsibilities
The scope of the initial assignment varies depending on the client and the assignment. As this is an "open advertisement" to cover future assignments, we have not set an assignment length, but the average assignment length is 6 months. Many positions are lab-based, where you will design, plan, execute and analyze pre-clinical in vivo studies. This could include design and execute in vivo experiments, conduct both behavioral experiments and in vivo sampling, perform data analysis, and report study results. Or execute and deliver preclinical in vivo and ex vivo studies for new drug target programs. This could also include establishing new technologies and approaches to improve or replace existing disease models that better predict clinical response. Qualifications
PhD degree in biological sciences, preferably related to behavioral neuroscience, pharmacology, immunology or biopsychology
Experience in maintaining the highest standards of animal welfare and ethical compliance. Familiar with using Good Statistical Practice in animal research and applying the 3R’s.
Extensive hands-on knowledge of behavioral testing in a variety of assays and experience setting up new methods.
Experience with various cellular and molecular biology techniques for measuring proteins and gene expression to analyze ex vivo samples generated from in vivo studies.
Experience delivering in vivo pharmacology studies in rodent models, PK/PD studies, and efficacy studies
Hand-on experience in rodent animal handling techniques, including different dosing regimens and blood sampling procedures
Proficient in the use of FACS
