What you’ll do
You will be part of Inbound Logistics Road Operations team, for which the purpose is to ensure that all production material transported by road will arrive on time and according to plan to our production sites within Europe. To achieve our purpose we are in need of continuous digitalisation and rethinking of our way of operating.
We are working in a fast-paced environment to support our production plants and you will take lead in developing and creating new tools and processes as well as maintaining our current ones, all to support the daily work. Data collection and analysis is key to be able to work proactive with problem solving, both on short and long term.
You and your colleagues are responsible to take actions driving performance forward and work close with other functions within VCC. To succeed in your role we will offer a broad view of our overall business which will be needed for you to be part of creating the change.
The main tasks of the role Inbound Analyst Road Operations EMEA:
* Develop tools and processes to improve and where possible automate or standardize processes within IBL EMEA.
* Lead activities to support the organisation in continuous improvement and problem solving.
* Maintain and continue development of current tools i.e., Macro-embedded Excel, Power BI etc.
* Be part of IT related projects.
* Coach colleagues in data analysis and where possible define tools to support the daily operation.
* To regular monitor and work with performance targets.
* Other tasks appointed by manager Road Operations EMEA.
Do you fit the profile?
To be successful in this role you need to have a University Degree and experience of freight forwarding or Inhouse logistic business is a plus.
We are looking for a creative individual who tends to see new ways of working to support the business. We believe you are solution-oriented person that can find, create and implement new tools and processes. You are probably someone who can maintain composure whilst under pressure.
Being customer focused and able to drive change within the group is highly valued. It is important to be a team player in this role as well as enjoying the individual responsibility.
You need to have the ability to communicate findings, make recommendations, and facilitate change. It is important to have an analytical mindset being able to use data as a support in decision making.
You need to have the knowledge of programming and enjoy creating new tools and to push yourself to learn new things.
Fluency in English is required.
Qualifications
* University degree, master preferable
* Entitled to work in Sweden
* Programming skills, such as Java, VBA, Python etc. is a major asset
* Knowledge in Blue prism, Power Automate or other Robotic Process Automation tools
* Knowledge in Power BI
* MS Excel and MS Access skills
