Your future job

Connectivity at Scania is one of the key components in Scania’s “driving the shift” strategy. At Connected Systems we work with the enabling solutions with a span from the vehicle, via Telecom networks to the Scania service platform in the cloud.

As Incident manger you will have a central role for technical questions regarding the services and their components, such as service unavailability or performance issues both on hardware, connectivity or software failures.  You will also support with close collaboration our devops team by coordination and execution of tasks of service lifecycle management. But the main responsibilities is to resolving incidents, planning for changes and root cause analysis of problems.  

You will be part of leading our initiative to accelerate our journey to a clear incident process flow.

Example of tasks:


• review and update of incident information and work with prioritization and escalation of tasks.  
• analysis of situation as well as communication to all involved parties (development teams, sales and marketing, Global Technical Support, IT-Support etc.).
• Lessons Learned activities and Root Cause Analysis.  

Since our connected services uses the mobile radio network to communicate with our products, and our complete system is currently migrating to the cloud, also Mobile Network Operators and AmazonWebServices is part of the monitored chain. 

Who you are  

For this role you need to be a customer oriented, analytic and focused person. We also believe that you:


• excel in communication, both written and spoken and fluent in both Swedish and English.
• have a holistic understanding of value chain and how end customers are affected. 
• have at least two years of experience in similar area, and you most likely have a formal degree in engineering physics, electrical engineering or computer science (or equivalent experience).
• have experience from working with software development. Knowledge of the areas of Cloud Computing/IoT/Connectivity/Telecom and the electrical system of heavy vehicles is a great advantage for this role.
