Independent Automotive Aftermarket Sales Manager Nordic, SKF
The Independent Automotive Aftermarket is undergoing dramatic changes with evolving customer expectations, acceleration of technological innovation, and shifts in competitive power. These changes will reshape the way customers, automotive suppliers, and other aftermarket companies drive business in the independent automotive aftermarket.
Independent automotive aftermarket business is conducted via several business channels, therefore SKF has recently reshaped this department to better drive and accelerate changes needed for future success.
The role will require you to optimize existing and future independent automotive aftermarket business through successful customer acquisition and retention strategies. You work together with the VSM Manager based in Finland.
Your day-to-day work
• Drive, develop, motivate and coach local independent automotive aftermarket sales teams, recognise and develop talents to meet future needs
• Foster current sales channels and develop partnerships with new sales channels
• Innovate, experiment, disrupt the way how our products reach garages
• Interact daily with independent automotive aftermarket internal stakeholders/departments
• Lead and drive change and improvement strategies
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and laws
• Ensure consistent, profitable growth in sales revenues through positive planning and collaboration
• Implement and execute company goals
• Analyse and monitor the automotive market to support clear business decisions
We expect you to have
Requirements
• University degree in Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration or similar
• Strong communication skills in English, verbal and written
• Valid driver’s license; category B
• Self-starter, highly motivated, hands on and can-do attitude
• Sound negotiation and project management skills
• Relevant sales, service, customer and innovation experience
• Experience of supply chain management
• Technical knowledge within Automotive

Location: Sweden, Norway or Denmark. Local contract.
You will report to the Manager - VSM (Vehicle Service Market) Sales Europe, located in Ljubljana, Slovenia.
