Ravintola Aisha, now situated in new premises in the picturesque town of Ilomantsi, is on the lookout for a skilled Cook who possesses a talent for crafting Indian dishes, an enthusiasm for contemporary pizza baking, and a keenness for collaborative work within a small team. Key Responsibilities:

We are seeking a skilled Indian Cuisine Cook who can prepare delectable meals according to our menu, ensuring timely delivery and top-notch taste.

As a Cook at Ravintola Aisha, your role will encompass a variety of responsibilities, including:

Following cooking instructions and delivering well-prepared dishes.

Cooking Indian dishes (especially chicken), baking pizzas and preparing kebab dishes.

Preparing ingredients for cooking (e.g., chopping, peeling, and cutting).

Assessing the quality of ingredients.

Maintaining a clean cooking area to uphold health and food safety standards.

Ensuring an organised kitchen environment.

Properly store all food and related items.

Contributing to the preservation and enhancement of our restaurant's reputation and expanding our clientele.

Working hours: Five days a week on a rotating schedule, totalling 40 hours.


Requirements and Skills:

We're looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:

• Willingness to reside in the small town of Ilomantsi.
• Availability for full-time employment.
• Proven experience as an Indian cuisine cook.
• Proficiency in pizza baking.
• Familiarity with cutting tools, cookware, and bakeware.
• Ability to work in the kitchen environment in English.
• Ability to speak Finnish and/or Bangla is an advantage.
• Willingness to learn the Finnish language with time, if not already spoken.
• At least three references from previous employers.

We'll provide assistance with finding suitable accommodation in Ilomantsi.
