Verisure is seeking a talented, innovative, passionate Indirect Procurement Manager to join our growing Procurement Team. The role will report to the Cluster Head of Indirect Procurement and will work in partnership with our regional Procurement Managers and Senior Buyers, Finance and Operations Directors, Line Managers and Legal Teams. The successful candidate’s mission will be to translate and execute the global vision of our procurement function and best in class procurement process, with a focus on the Marketing category.

Strategic context and Value proposition

The Group procurement organization is evolving from a decentralized to a centralized driven model to become more strategy-oriented with higher value and higher impact ROI projects. As part of this transformation project, there will be plenty of focus to improve the efficiency of the procurement to pay process, to leverage the cost control capabilities via a better TCO management in the different cost categories while driving global alliances with partners and suppliers. The Indirect Procurement Manager is responsible for managing ambitious Indirect Procurement related projects, sometimes across our Nordic Cluster (Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark).

The role will be responsible for Indirect Procurement activities at a Cluster level and cross-divisional, primary contact point for Nordic stakeholders. The focus is the execution of strategic sourcing projects and the management of key country in accordance with the Annual Productivity Plan and Category Strategies. You may be involved in the country, regional or global projects, as agreed. You ensure execution of the procurement strategies, and deployment of best in class processes and tools.

The Indirect Procurement Manager follows the Sourcing Management process to lead proactive sourcing projects, specification definition and demand management activities, as well as managing Country Category-specific supplier performance and innovation activities.

 

Key Responsibilities

The Procurement Manager will implement the procurement strategy and establish the policies in accordance with corporate requirements. He/she will lead the key activities related to operational improvements and change management process in a dynamic and high growth environment
 

The successful candidate will:

* Coordinate activities in Sweden Procurement and ensure projects run as scheduled
* Negotiate with external vendors to secure advantageous terms and business partnerships
* Responsible to drive and conduct RFP’s for the country and contribute to the RFP’s run on a Group level, including pricing and economics negotiations, the definition of sourcing strategies, and contract negotiations.
* Collaborate with key persons to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the company
* Define, track, and report KPIs to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
* Control spend and build a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs
* Prepare business case and implementation scenario for a Procure to pay local solution
* Perform risk management for supply contracts and agreements & Run Supplier homologation processes
* Examine and test existing contracts
* Partner with the Group and in-country teams to strategically manage supplier portfolio
* Report to the Procurement Cluster Leader & and Indirect Group Procurement Head

Location

Position based in Linköping or Stockholm.

Candidate profile

Experiences and Qualifications:

* University Degree in Economics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or Information Technology
* Proven working experience as a procurement manager
* Talent in negotiations and networking
* Strong leadership capabilities
* Fluent in English and Swedish. Spanish an advantage
* Good knowledge of SAP/Navision/Oracle/Xflow or other ERP systems
* High numerical literacy
* A high level of Excel is a must
