Indirect Purchaser - IT

Experis Finance are looking to hire a purchaser with good knowledge within IT purchasing to expand our team of consultants. Your first assignment is located at an international company within the automotive industry i Gothenburg. The assignment starts in May and runs for 6 months with possibility of extension.

Your assignment

At Purchasing, you are part of a global team with the mission to develop and maintain a world-class supplier base. Ensuring the supply of products and services - at the right cost, quality and technology.

The primary role of Indirect Purchasing - IT is to serve the Global IT department within the organisation with relevant sourcing activities, negotiations, supplier- market- and spend analysis, contract management as well as governance towards our current and potential suppliers. Our generic task as a staff function is to support, but also to challenge in order to improve the way IT supports the overall objectives.

As Purchaser you will play an important role in ensuring a close relationship with our stakeholders and a fruitful relationship with our suppliers in order to create best value. You are part of a team of 11 purchasers and contract managers working in close cooperation with a very positive mind set. In your role you have the responsibility to buy IT Services, software & hardware for EMEA.

Daily tasks and responsibilities

-Review purchase requisitions and place orders

-Commercial and contractual negotiations with global suppliers within the IT area, such as project development services, support & maintenance services, infrastructure services, managed services etc.

-Be the organizations focal point towards IT suppliers in commercial and contractual discussion and negotiations

-Support IT with professional knowledge, experience and skills how to obtain best possible sourcing solution

-Find saving opportunities and drive the initiatives forward in collaboration with Purchasing managers, Strategic buyers, and stakeholders

-Execute and support market-, supplier- and spend analysis to be on top of the IT Service area

-Work in close collaboration with strategic buyers, purchasing managers, as well as stakeholders, to ensure alignment of the IT sourcing strategy

Competence Requirements

We believe that you have an university degree or equivalent professional experience in the relevant area. You have several years of professional experience in the purchasing of Services and multi sourcing area. Further you have good negotiation skills, commercial and contractual track record for global services.You have former experience in indirect purchasing mainly within IT services.

As a person you are result oriented with high integrity and professionalism. You are a great communicator with excellent cooperation skills. Further, you are self driven, Business and performance driven and have a positive mind set.
