What you'll do
We are now looking of an Indirect Purchaser that can take the responsibility for leading the global indirect logistics category at Magna Electronics, focus will be on inbound/outbound freights, warehousing, and packaging.

As an Indirect Purchaser your are expected to:

- Lead and be responsible to source, select, develop and implement strategically suppliers

- Secure and Maintain supplier performances and contacts

- Develop and implementing process, standards and system

- Manage and act on risks related to the supply chain

- Support and work closely with Global Logistics teams

You will support and work closely with your colleagues both locally and in the global category teams.

Your office location could be either at our manufacturing plant in Vårgårda or at our Engineering office in Linköping.

What you bring with you
You already have a solid base, experience, and knowledge within operational and strategic purchasing and/or have a solid base in logistics and have worked with inbound/outbound freights, Warehousing, and packaging.

You like to be part of an environment of constant learning and development, where you can put your problem solving and analytic skills to good use. You have excellent communication skills and know how to create long lasting relationships with suppliers and within the internal stakeholders.

You like to work with continues improvements, clarifications and simplifications of processes and thrive in finding, establishing, and following structures at a high pace, constantly working towards a deadline.

You are used to and enjoy working both independently and in global teams, taking initiative, making decisions based on facts, and taking ownership of your process. You see yourself as result oriented and quality minded person with a sense for structure and responsibility.

Education
University degree, or equivalent education /work experience
