Ericsson AB Presentation This position can only be applied on Ericsson's web page.Please visit http://www.ericsson.com/careers.Arbetsuppgifter The Industrial engineer packaging role is to: - during the NPI phase develop packaging material in close corporation with our suppliers, you are responsible for all documentation of packaging - be the one that participate in NPI/TPI (new product introduction/transfer product introduction) projects to secure that introduction of new products is in compliance with supply product, process and quality demands for an efficient volume/reference production - in close corporation with PMD develop packaging methods - represent ESS Kumla in global PEG (packaging engineering group) forum - measurement and analyze of data and performance from assigned part/parts of the HW Make Process - define and maintain assembly instructions - drive internal and external improvement forums to ensure input and feedback from line organization as well as R&D (research & development) and product management - define, create and implement education activities related to products and process - work and develop global solutions together with our sister factories globally - be the main driver of investments on a technology base - act as an instructor or teacher for concerned parties or groups - be a contact person against our production partners for example EMS - supporting the business and establish close cooperation with nearby functions.Based on the outcome of analyzes, improvement activities shall be suggested and, when decided, planned, implemented and communicated to and within the affected process or process part. You are a part of the industrial engineering organization.Utbildning/erfarenhet We desire that you have a technical bachelor degree or equivalent job experience.You should also have: - IS/IT competence, Office, CAD tools (CAD 2009, UG or ProE) - methods engineering, ETSI test, AVIX, line size, DMAIC etcetera - packaging material knowledge - excellent knowledge of statistics, yellow belt level in Six Sigma is preferred - be result oriented (includes taking initiative, ability to seek and use relevant information, problem solving and creativity/innovation) - good language skills (fluent in Swedish and good in English, verbal as well as written) - presentation skills (verbal as well as written) - cultural awareness.You are service- and open-minded and like exploring new areas, and like to work with people.You enjoy achieving working results with high quality and on time.Företagsbeskrivning Ericsson is the world's leading provider of technology and services to telecom operators.The company's portfolio comprises mobile and fixed network infrastructure, telecom services, software, broadband and multimedia solutions for operators, enterprises and the media industry.
