Transmission in China – Full scale Scania production setup from zero
Scania has taken the strategic decision to set-up a 3rd industrial hub in China.
A project to develop and implement full scale assembly operations have been initiated within Scania Production & Logistics. One part of this project is the establishment of eMobility & Transmission Assembly, including assembly of gearboxes and axles, prepared for eMobility powertrain.
We are now looking for candidates to join the project team to put the industrial process and organization in place!
In the project, you will be a part of an exciting journey to create a full scale production plant in China. Starting from zero, the project team is responsible to design, build and launch production in a completely new factory.
Your main assignment includes several activities such as:
• Manage procurement of production equipment from pre-study and requirement setting through procurement all the way to installation and implementation.
• Act as the main interface towards involved equipment suppliers
• Responsible for time plan, budget and result of the investment project

We seek people with capability to independently drive activities in the context of a broader team project and with the ability to break down and solve problems that occur along the way. Meritorious is a university degree in engineering or similar and at least a couple of years' of work experience, preferably as process engineer,
Your location
The China project team is based in Södertalje. However, flexible work location may be applied to reflect competences needed and project deliveries. Business trips abroad and to China occur. For some roles longer location in China is possible or needed.
