The industrialization area is a critical part when it comes to bringing new products to the market. We are now looking for a new co-worker who can fill a temporarily position as Industrial Lead during a maternity leave starting June 2017 and ending August 2018. WHAT WILL YOU DO? As the market leader in the surveillance cameras category with the aim to drive the shift from analog to digital video surveillance, it is crucial to have an inventive product portfolio but also a smooth product launch and fast volume ramp-up. The Industrial Lead has a key role to achieve that as they are responsible to coordinate and drive the production and supply chain related activities within product development projects. The goal for our team is to plan and execute a fast product ramp-up with the right quality and cost then handover a robust supply chain to our line organization. In this role your responsibilities will be:

Plan, coordinate, and drive all industrialization activities to secure an effective and smooth production ramp-up (sourcing, quality and production test).
Keep the industrialization part of the project on track and make sure deliveries are according to plan.
Contribute to detect quality-, sourcing- and production risks. Own and illustrate the industrialization risks to the project managers to keep them informed of the status.
Participate and set demands from a Supply Chain perspective during reviews of new products and project documents
Plan, drive and follow up different production builds at our global contract manufacturers.
Plan and drive important Product transfer or Product maintenance projects.
This position requires approximately 25 days of travelling per year. WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR? We believe you have a technical university degree or similar education. You have a few years of experience in production and procurement/sourcing as well as experience of managing projects or improvement activities. Previous experience from Axis production or procurement is an advantage. Good communication skills in English and Swedish, both spoken and written, is required.

You are a driven team player with good collaboration skills. Furthermore, you are well-structured with a high quality focus and have the ability to coordinate and follow-up multiple projects simultaneous. THE PRODUCTION PREPARATION AND SOURCING GROUP The Industrial Lead team is a part of the production preparation and sourcing group. It also consists of Sourcing, Production Test, Design for Manufacturing and Product Data Management. The group is responsible for industrialization of new products, performs product transfers between production sites, supports production and introduces product changes. The main collaboration is with R&D, Contract manufacturers, Configuration & Logistic Centers and with other functions within Operations. WHAT CAN AXIS DO FOR YOU?
