Industrialization Specialist - Wasa in Filipstad

We are now searching for an Industrialization Specialist to join the department of Industrialization within Research, Development & Quality in the Wasa crisp bread plant. The position is full time, based in Filipstad and will be appointed as soon as possible. This is a temporary full time assignment lasting 1 year.

About the position:
The department of Industrialization works closely together with Product Development, Quality and the Production plants. The main responsibilities are to maintain and develop the Wasa branded products on the markets by continuous improvements of recipes, production processes and specifications. This role involves regular coordination with the Legal and Nutrition teams to ensure the correct printing on all our packaging materials. When developing new products, there is a joint responsibility shared with the Product Development team to ensure that each product will be feasible to produce in an industrial scale. The Industrialization team is also responsible for following up all recipes, quality systems and production processes on a regular basis in order to secure the right product quality, throughout the whole chain from raw material to finished product.

As an Industrialization Specialist you will support in the launch of new projects and help manage ongoing projects connected to raw materials, production processes and products. You will follow the bread from the beginning all the way to the store, and work to solve issues on a day to day basis. You liaise daily with the Quality and Technology teams in our plants in Filipstad (Sweden) and Celle (Germany). The position requires some business trips to Germany and Italy, but you will be based in Filipstad.

About you:
We believe that you have a University degree within engineering, food science or production. For this position it is preferred that you have approximately 1 year of experience from the industry. Your skills in Swedish and English are excellent both written and spoken, while knowledge of German is merited but not a requirement for the position. You also have strong skills in the entire MS Office package. To succeed in this role we believe you have experience from project management and that you are analytical, structured and result oriented. You enjoy working independently as well as coordinating with colleagues, and have an eye for details.
