The position
Are you a skilled informatician with a passion for healthcare information and enterprise information architecture? Do you want to be part of shaping the next generation open platform and enabling innovation within healthcare?
If so, then we have a fantastic opportunity to shape the future of eHealth as an informatician in our platform team. Our mission is to create a new ecosystem that truly enables lifelong patient healthcare records, 3rd party innovation and data science so that we together with others can improve healthcare and the end-to-end care chain.
Your responsibilities:
- Guiding the development team with defining requirements on the platform using a combination of deep understanding of informatics standards, especially the openEHR specifications as well as business requirements.
- Using your informatics expertise to ensure not only compliance with the specifications, but also to create sustainable patterns for how to use informatics standards to support enterprise application development.
- Understanding not only of how to use informatics standards to model individual concepts, but also how to do so consistently and in a scalable manner as well as understanding how healthcare is modelled on a macro level, including healthcare processes.
- Engaging with customers to understand their information needs and transform that into informatic artifacts to be used in the platform
You will also work closely with our Informatics Content team that is for responsible creation and governance of informatic artifacts such as models, templates and terminology content. You will also participate in different national initiatives that drive e-health standardization within Sweden, as collaboration with both internal and external parties is key success factor for our team and products!
About you
You are an analytical person who likes to create order, sees common patterns and can lead the process from analyzing business requirements to its implementation using various informatics standards. You have an informatics mindset and can switch your focus between large contexts and small details. You are a responsible team player who loves problem solving. You have an interest in information management and are curious in learning new things. You understand complex and abstract concepts and you can explain them in an understandable manner. You also care about quality and long-term sustainability in everything you do.
Requirements
- Degree in engineering, computer science, systems science, informatics or related field of study (or equivalent work experience)
- Experience as informatician, information architect, business analyst or similar
- Experience and understanding of healthcare information systems and their uses
- Experience with information modelling
- Speaks and writes English fluently
It's a bonus if you
- Experience with openEHR
- Experience with SNOMED CT
- Experience with HL7 FHIR
- Experience with UML Use Cases, use case narratives or other methods of defining and modelling system requirements
- Speaks and writes Swedish fluently
Place of employment: Stockholm or Linköping
Scope: Full time
Form of employment: Permanent employment, 6 months trial period
