Information Analyst – BI

We can offer you a challenging position at Husqvarna working with a core focus area within IT. As we are strengthening our Information management team we are looking for a driven BI professional.

Job description:

The Information Analyst is responsible for information content and standard reports provided to the business users of Husqvarna through various BI-tools. You will assist Husqvarna business units to formulate their demands and transform business requirements into IT requirements. You will also review and approve solution design specifications from our suppliers. Training of how to use BI tools and reports is another responsibility. To be successful in this position you have to be able to present information in a pedagogic way. You will work towards different business areas and interact with business controllers, business managers and key users.

A key capability is to proactively follow and understand the growing needs for information availability and business analysis to be transformed into BI-solutions.

As the GIS Information Analyst you will have an important role in the development of our business intelligence platform, working in close coordination with colleagues in the GIS Architecture and Service Management team.

About you:

We think that you have a relevant educational background for the specified position. You have approximately 5 years of work experience with 2 years experience in a similar role, preferably in a large international company. Previous assignment could be in financial reporting and controlling. To manage the task of this position it’s essential that you have a good understanding for business, operational processes and business intelligence.

You have the ability to communicate both in written presentation and in speech. As we are a global organization this includes excellent skills in English. It’s important that you are a well-organized person who likes to work in a structured way and actively work on preserving the established processes and procedures.

GIS is responsible for delivery of IT services throughout the group and the organization is based on major hub sites Huskvarna, Sweden and Charlotte, U.S. The ITS (IT Services) department within GIS is responsible for delivery of new IT solutions and ongoing IT services. ITS is organized in three delivery functions; Solution Services, Information Services and Infrastructure Services, while Service Integration Management and ITSM process governance is provided by the Service Management Office (SMO).
