Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.
At R&D Digital Office we work with Digitalisation and Information Management to support R&D departments, were Digital Trust, Digital Threads, Data Driven, Privacy, Information Security, New Technologies, Communication and Evaluation are some of our lead areas.
As the environment is constantly changing with new business opportunities for Scania and new legislations, and given the development in the outside world, Information and Data protection is getting more and more important. It is therefor important that Scania protects its Intellectual Property and Personal Data of our employees, customers and partners.
As our current Privacy Officer are planning to move on, we are now looking for his successor.
Your main tasks
In this role you will together with a colleague within the team co-operate in the area of Information system and Security Management. Your focus will be on Privacy and Data Protection, and you are going to be part of company wide network where you meet co-workers in similar positions at other departments, as well as Scania companies worldwide.
As representative for R&D you will discuss common issues, improvements and plan for implementation activities. Your responsibility is to help the R&D organisation to be compliant to internal policy’s and existing privacy legislation, and increase our resilience against fraud and loss of data.
A big part of your time you will spend on a strategic level, proactively investigating consequences of decisions and legislation that affect Information Security and Privacy.
Your main tasks will be:
• Guiding R&D in risk assessments
• Awareness training and information
• Giving advice in specific R&D projects
• Follow up and reporting
Your profile
We are looking for a person that want to develop and improve Information Security and Privacy around Scania data.
We think you are a positive, creative and social person that have experience from Information Security, Data Protection and/or product development.
You are pragmatic and supportive with good cooperation skills. In several situations you will act as a mentor to educate and guide the R&D organisation.
