Arbetsbeskrivning
What do Mars rockets, smartphones, and exclusive watches have in common? They’re made using Sandvik Coromant tools and solutions to ensure the highest level of precision, quality and productivity. Although, we usually might be recognized as an industrial company, we’re also one of the most prominent IT organizations of the region, aiming to become a leader within digital solutions.
For our Product information management team, we’re looking for an Information Architect – a self-motivated and structured problem-solver with excellent collaboration skills.
We have just left the starting blocks for several big changes – such as one of the most extensive current ERP implementations of the Nordic region, as well as a Product Information Management (PIM) initiative– all in order to create a seamless flow of information across our organization. For this to be successful, qualitative information is crucial, and to achieve this; information architecture is a core capability that we need to develop. Therefore, we’re searching for new talents to join us on this dynamic journey and strengthen our Product Information Management department. The department handles the Sandvik Coromant common product information architecture, with the purpose to enable cross-company sharing of product data as well as working together with our suppliers, customers, partners, and channels with product data to support, finding, selecting, evaluating, and using our products. We’re a key player in the revolution towards a fully digitalized organization.
In this position, you’re a domain information architect as well as acting in the role of data steward for product information, working to make sure that Sandvik Coromant has the capability to meet future demands. You take a leading role in developing and governing Sandvik Coromant’s common product information architecture and setting processes, methods, and standards within the area of information management. By prioritizing the right tasks to meet deadlines, you roll up your sleeves and work operatively to deliver tangible results. Collaborating closely with other data stewards and architects across the organization, you build a broad network while ensuring that our business has common reference points and is applying the governed information structure correctly and efficiently.
This position gives you some flexibility to choose your working location, although the possibility to regularly work at our site in Sandviken site is important to maintain solid personal networks and smooth collaboration.
