Description of company Ericsson is a leading provider of telecommunications equipment and related services to mobile and fixed network operators globally.More than 1000 networks in 140 countries utilize our network equipment and 40 percent of all mobile calls are made through our systems.We are one of the few companies worldwide that can offer end-to-end solutions for all major mobile communication standards.The mission of the Ericsson IT organization is to drive service delivery excellence, source value through service integration and managed partner agreements, and drive innovative use of IT when providing competitive advantage for Ericsson.The IT organization also manages global IT architecture for optimized value versus total cost of ownership.Job description The Enterprise IT Architecture team within IT Architecture & Program Management is responsible for developing, actively driving and managing the Ericsson IT architecture framework, principles and processes.The team is also responsible for ensuring there is a vision, strategy, model and roadmap for Ericsson's Enterprise IT architecture, and that they comply with defined Ericsson business requirements and strategies.The key focus during the next couple of years will be on supporting Ericsson business in transitioning from being technology focused to information focused.The Enterprise IT Architecture Team closely cooperates with such groups as our Solution Experts, Information Managers, Service Managers and our external partners.The Information Architect will have a key role in the small Enterprise IT Architecture Team, which currently includes the other key roles of Strategy, Business Architect, Application Architect, Security Architect and Infrastructure Architect.The Information Architect will drive and participate in the overall work with accountability, focus and special competence in the Information Management/Business Information Area.The Information Architect will with great drive and passion help put the "I" back in IT.Requested competence - A degree in one of the following fields of study: Business, Technology and/or Informatics, System Development.- Minimum 5-10 years' experience in the IS/T area, preferably IT architecture development and support.- Extensive experience leading and working with Information Management.- Excellent business and process understanding - supporting the business flow in an R&D-intensive company.- Proven leadership abilities and the ability to inspire.- Proven ability to meet commitments - you need to be proactive and have the ability to prioritize and focus.- Excellent communication skills - verbal and written.- Positive, with a "can-do" attitude.- Fluent written and spoken English.
