Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.

We are embarking a journey for the Finance community within the Scania group, this is a once in a lifetime opportunity to drive the shift for Finance within Scania. We are now looking for an experienced Information Architect that can support us in the journey towards a Data-Driven Finance and Controlling operation. You will be working in a cross-functional environment and need to be able to take a process end to end perspective to ensure that we cater for qualitative data availability from our own processes as well as adjacent processes. In this role, you will report to the Head of Digitalisation and Information Architecture within the Finance Way & Innovation Office, that is a part of the head office function Finance & Business Control.

Your role 


• Responsible for, defining, implement,ing and maintaining our concept-, Information- and Data models according to applicable standards.  
• Collaborate closely with process stakeholders, business representatives, business architects, and solution architects, to ensure that business demands in terms of data quality and availability are fulfilled through a broad spectrum of analytical capabilities and services.  
• Actively collaborate with the Scania Information Management team to establish a robust information management governance structure that fulfills business needs. 
• The role is new within F&BC which means you will be able to influence the content of responsibility. 

Your profile 

To succeed in this role, it is important that you can drive tasks independently as well as plan, perform and conclude workshops. We believe that you are able to take a helicopter view, to think long-term, in order to advise and support in decisions that strengthen the journey of becoming data-driven. Experience in transformation projects is positive, but not a demand. 

We believe you possess some of the following experiences or characteristics: 


• Relevant University degree within data engineering or proven record of experience 
• Experience as a software architect and/or system engineer with relevant certifications & deep knowledge of modeling 
• You are used to working in cross-functional and international teams with a proven record in project management 
• Develop effective, reasonable, and doable solutions to problems and known to clearly take a stand in different questions 
• Good communication skills, being able to influence and interact at different levels in the organization. Fluent in English, verbal & written, is a requirement 
• Knowledge in BI-tools, SAP, Oracle, or MS Dynamics is a merit
