Scania is currently undergoing an exciting transformation from a traditional truck and bus manufacturer to a provider of complete sustainable transport solutions. Battery electric drivetrains, autonomous driving, 5G, and IoT technologies are disrupting our industry and we rise to the challenge. Do you want to be a part of Scania’s digital and data-driven transformation? We are now looking for a highly motivated Information Architect who wants to contribute to the development and strengthen our team!

The world of transport and logistics is rapidly transforming into a sustainable ecosystem and at Scania, we are facing the biggest shift in our history. Our target is to take a leading role by introducing new tailor-made products, services, and sustainable transport solutions. These new products are heavily depending on information as one of the most important assets.

YOU WILL
As an information architect, you will belong to a like-minded group consisting of an Information Architect, Information Manager, Business Developer, and Business Analyst that is working across Scania globally with Information Management. This group is supporting different units of Scania with defining and structuring information, as well as governing Scania’s Common Information Model and offering training in the area of concept and information modeling. Furthermore, the group is working with data governance, metadata management, master data management, and data quality. Is this sound like YOU? Then join us and let’s shape Scania’s future together.

YOU ARE

As a person, you are structured and methodical with a pragmatic approach. An ability to focus on adding business value to Scania in the transformation into a data-driven company. You value collaborations, and sharing knowledge and have strong interpersonal and communication skills. In addition to that, you are proactive, self-driven, and have the ability to work independently as well as in a team.

IN ORDER TO SUCCEED IN THE ROLE, WE ALSO SEE THAT YOU HAVE:


• A couple of years of experience in a similar position as an Information or Business Architect.
• Solid experience and advanced competence in concept and information modeling.
• Solid experience in Architecture frameworks.
• Experience in Cross-functional teams in large or medium-sized environments and communicating with business levels. 
• Excellent communication skills in English in both speaking and writing.

We see it as big meritorious if you have one or more of the following:

Concept and modeling methods and/or knowledge of any of the modeling tools, ie Sparx.
