Nasdaq's Internship Program provides outstanding opportunities for students to gain hands-on experience during a 10-week summer internship (2023). We believe in learning by doing, that’s why our Interns work on real-world projects and tasks that impact our business, together with Nasdaq employees and senior colleagues worldwide. You will acquire new skills and experiences which you can share with other interns across our Global intern community. As an Information Security Analyst Intern you will join Nasdaq's Application Security team, which is a part of the Information Security Department. Our team is responsible for Application Security and DevSecOps within Nasdaq. We focus on helping the developers to write secure code that can be deployed to the cloud. If you are motivated and passionate in gaining experience while working on a security project at a global scale with real life challenges, then come join our team!




What you will bring:


Studying a program close to information security, for example Computer Science, engineering, physics or similar, graduating 2024.
Enjoy scripting and software development
In terest in hands - on technical cyber security work
Curiosity and interest in capital markets, business intelligence, and financial technology, paired with strong analytical/problem solving skills
Ability to engage and collaborate closely with your team and other stakeholders
Contribution to our Nasdaq culture and values


It would be great if you have:


Some working experience with automation, software development, cloud infrastructure, UNIX/Linux, knowledge of software vulnerabilities.
Involvement or/e xperience with work in cyber security

This role is located at our modern Umeå office right in the city center at Utopia, which makes it close to all kinds of restaurants and gym. At this location, over 100 employees across different teams work together building and developing Nasdaq's core tech.


About the process


Our recruitment process is continuous, so please submit your resumé in English as soon as possible. The final application date is December 4 th and we hope to extend offers before Christmas.


Interviews will be hosted by 2-3 Nasdaq employees and be conducted digitally via Zoom. If the role has technical demands you may be asked to participate in a digital coding assignment prior to the interview.
