About your job
In this position, you’re responsible for actively safeguarding information and managing information security risks effectively. You review and implement information security solutions to protect our systems, data, and networks from cyber threats. Part of your job is to ensure that our security program is aligned with our cybersecurity objectives and apply our information security policies, procedures, and guidelines on IT solutions.
Also included in your job is to:
Conduct IT security reviews and assessments of third-party vendors and partners.
Conduct technology risk assessments and identify vulnerabilities, threats, and risks to our information assets.
Work closely with our Data Privacy specialist to ensure that our systems and solutions are compliant with data protection laws and regulations.
Expand the Information Security responsibilities to contribute in the Data Privacy area.
Coordinate with other IT teams to ensure that our technology solutions meet our security standards.

The location for this position is Sandviken or Stockholm and we apply a hybrid work set-up where you can combine office work with work from another location.
Your profile
We’re looking for someone with a relevant degree, combined with previous experience of working in a similar role – preferably within a global company. You’re very interested in technology and it’s beneficial to have knowledge of Data Privacy and certifications in Information Security or Cyber Security. Working in a global environment calls for excellent skills in English, verbally and in writing.
Being self-motivated, analytical, and confident, you’re a positive team player who takes responsibility for security goals – eager to make an impact. With your excellent communication and interpersonal skills, you have good abilities to cooperate with other departments and stakeholders. Your creative mindset enables you to solve problems and develop efficient and robust solutions to stay ahead of emerging threats.
