Information Security Controller

Overview

The Information Security Team establishes and manages Essity Group’s information security on behalf of our CIO. Security is governed and managed through Essity Information Security Management System (ISMS). An Information Security Controller has a broad responsibility to cover tasks in all parts of the ISMS. The Controller reports to Director Information Security.

Each team member’s responsibility is defined annually and is assigned based on Essity’s current risk exposure, the team member’s competences and individual development goals.

This position will specifically be responsible for the information security audits accomplished on behalf of Essity’s Internal Audit function. You will have responsibility for the security audit service and most of the security audits. You will be travelling short trips to 5-15 Essity sites per year. The sites are all over the world, but mostly in Europe. The geographical scope is global, but the position is in Gothenburg.

Main responsibilities:
Continuous technology and information risk watch.
Risk management; provide security guidance to the company including IT colleagues. Support and follow up on remediating activities.
Manage incidents and service requests.
Continuous improvement of the ISMS.
Evolve Essity’s information security capabilities consistent with the risk portfolio including security awareness activities.
Conduct internal information security audits on locations and services based on Essity’s information security standards. Ownership and development of the audit program
Compile reports to IT Management providing assurance that information security is being adequately addressed.


Who you are
University degree in computer science
Minimum 3 years of experience from information security auditing
A team-player who is self-motivated with a positive attitude.
High ability to deliver results within agreed time.
Quality oriented with high documentation and presentation skills.
Ability to act and take decisions based on risk evaluation.
Ability to motivate and encourage the auditee on Essity security ambitions
IT skills to prepare each audit with facts gathered from different security tools.
