Information Security Engineer

We are looking for an Information Security Engineer to join our mission to pioneer the future of financial services!
Our team is committed to creating and reinforcing security within our SEB Embedded products and Banking as a Service platform. As an Information Security Engineer you will play a pivotal role in our cutting-edge team - working closely with the business in information security advisory, vendor assessments, and customer reviews.


About us
We are a newly formed team with the mission to deliver scalable tools, enabling our developers and business to operate in a secure way.
Currently the team consists of three security engineers and a security engineering manager, but we are growing to support our scaling organization. This phase of our growth journey will give great opportunities to develop and learn new areas within the field of security.
As a team we are focused on helping the business thrive by applying the exact right amount of security and creating easy to understand and use solutions. The team is made up of experienced security engineers who enjoy working together to solve real life problems for engineers.


What you will do
Your main responsibilities will be:
Adapting regulatory requirements to tangible security requirements.
Information security consulting and advisory to teams within SEB Embedded.
Leading the refinement and implementation of internal security policies and procedures
Analysis on the current Digital Operational Resilience Act and other regulatory obligations, to identify gaps and help implement solutions to close those gaps
Assisting in performing customer, vendor and supplier reviews focusing on the security domain, including drawing up remediation plans when required
Running information security training for internal staff
Performing information security risk assessments.



Your responsibilities will evolve over time depending on your areas of interest and desired growth path!


Who you are
Communication and relationship building are key areas for success in this role, as well as the acumen to finding strategic compromises that enhance the overall business goals.
A few years of relevant information security experience.
Experience working with regulations and auditors, as well as privacy laws.
Problem solving and analytical skills.
Experience in review or audit of Information Security Management System (ISMS).

Nice to have for the role:
Background as an engineer/software developer/infrastructure engineer
Understanding of banking related regulations.
