Now we’re looking for the right person to fill our brand-new position as Information Security Manager – a key role in defining, managing, and ensuring that we’re compatible with all aspects of IT security. About the job
In this position, you support the delivery of a variety of innovative, modern, and secure solutions that comply with Sandvik’s security policies and guidelines. Included in your responsibility are coordination and continuous development of the information security management system, along with the creation, implementation, and maintenance of information security guidelines.
As this is a global role you have a broad focus, although some of your main tasks are to:
Coordinate information security awareness training for internal stakeholders.
Align with other Sandvik business areas on security topics.
Collaborate with relevant stakeholder’s cross-functional– within things such as data privacy, compliance, and risk management.
Support the implementation of regulatory requirements – such as GDPR, PIPL, and CSL.
Security service portfolio management
Conduct supplier and contract security reviews.
Support internal and external audits and M&A initiatives.

The location for this job is in Lahti, Finland – with frequent travel to Hyllie (Malmö), Sweden. However, we also offer part-time remote work possibilities. Domestic and international travel is included in the job.
Your skills and you as a person
We’re looking for someone with a relevant education within information technology, computer science or similar, or you´ve gained comparable qualifications through previous work.
You have several years of professional experience in:
operation and development of information security management systems
managing IT & Network Infrastructure
the field of information security.

And ideally, you hold certification in CISA, CASP, CISM, CISSP, ISO 27001 auditor, or equal. Experience from an independent, structured, and solution-oriented way of working is also necessary. As we operate on a global stage and our corporate language is English, a proficient level of both written and oral English is a requirement.
