Information Security Manager

For the GRC-/Oversight Function within the CISO Office at Sandvik Group, we’re now looking for an Information Security Manager to help heighten our team. You´ll have a central role in visualizing and reducing Sandvik’s total information security risk posture and securing that Sandvik has a risk-based approach in the decisions. Your mission
In this position, you ensure the implementation and adherence of Information, IT security policy and guidelines in the Business Areas as well as on Group level. You do this by supporting your business/Group counterparts in defining business requirements regarding availability, confidentiality, and integrity. Furthermore, you identify potential risks, advise relevant stakeholders in information security matters, and act as a bridge between business requirements and the information security requirements. In addition, you facilitate decision-making to implement relevant security controls and are responsible for leading information security topics towards various business process stakeholders. This is done through your business colleagues in defined governance forums.
In more detail, your daily work aims to:
Maintain the security, confidentiality, integrity, availability, accountability of information systems
Ensure information systems comply with legislation, regulation and relevant standards
Select, adopt and adapt security control frameworks
Design, justify and implement security management strategies
Identify risks with technical solution architecture

This position is preferably based in Sandviken or Stockholm, however, working from one of our other units across Sweden works perfectly fine.

Your character
We’re searching for someone with extensive experience in Information Security. You’re knowledgeable of information security threats and have worked with information security implementations, preferably in a decentralized enterprise organization. You also act as process owner and develop the processes regarding compliance to information security and related areas – process development experience is therefore a must for this role. You show good stakeholder management skills and enjoy working with multiple stakeholders on all levels. We value previous work experience with similar tasks more than a formal education, although a relevant education is a plus. As we act on the global scene, you’re comfortable in verbal and written English.
Your personality is equally important, and we’re looking for a supportive, communicative and innovative relationship builder. You’re a dedicated and sociable leader who likes to connect with all kinds of people.
