We are looking for a skilled Information Security Officer to continue our Information Security work. The team is global, and you will report directly to our group CISO, Denis Lechevin, and work closely with both the Nexus Management team and our colleagues in IN Groupe. This position is based in either Stockholm (Telefonplan) or Germany (Ettlingen, near Karlsruhe).

What will you be doing at Nexus?

As information security is one of our key assets, we take this very seriously. We are ISO 27001 certified and have come a long way in our foundation of information security work. But we know the world is under rapid change and we need to work hard to stay on top of the latest security aspects and threats. As our Information Security Officer, you will keep working with our Information Security Management System (ISMS) and you will collaborate closely with the organization to assure we are up to speed with current and future needs.

To do this you will have to be out in the organization, act as a spokesperson for security topics, listen to what’s going on around you and take action when needed. This is not a role where you can just sit at your desk and write policies, even though that is of course part of the role as well.

In your role, you will have the lead responsibility for our policies and processes, but also to spread the knowledge and train the rest of us in security awareness. You will work closely with IN Groupe to make sure all parts of the group benefit from each other’s skills and work.

The role in bullets

- Own, lead and improve the organizations ISO27001 framework
- Design, develop, implement and oversee Nexus’ information security strategy
- Develop the organization’s information security procedures and overall cyber-security framework
- Create and drive security awareness trainings and make sure the knowledge is spread in the organisation
- Lead the virtual Security Team at Nexus and work very closely with our internal IT team


Who are you?
You have deep knowledge of ISO 27001, and you are really interested in all aspects of information security. People around you might even seem to think you are a bit nerdy regarding info sec and the fact that you have a poster of the principles of International Organization for Standardization in your room. We will love this about you, and you will have the opportunity to spread your knowledge as the Information Security Officer at Nexus.

To be successful in your mission at Nexus we think you’ve held a similar role in a high-tech company before. Being in a security company within an international high-tech environment is quite complex, so some years in the field before you join is needed. During these years you have learned how to get people around you engaged when you talk about information security, and you know when to be pragmatic and when to push through. You have also gained experience in IT Security related hardware, software and vendor solutions.

You get people to listen and follow through your ways of working rather than through a chain of command. You speak at least some tech, and you love inspiring engineering teams and building partnerships with multiple stakeholders. You know how to lead projects and how to make sure to cross all the way over the finish line.

Last, but not least you need to be unhindered in English and if you also speak Swedish, French or German this is a very big plus. The final candidate for this role, will need to do a security check and have verbal references from previous employers.
