We are Nordnet’s security team

As Nordnet’s designated security team we handle everything from secure development to incident response and information security. Our philosophy is that we are more successful as a team than as individuals and we believe that security challenges are best addressed through collaboration, where different security professions come together. To make this work, every team member contributes and takes responsibility for the team's results. We also believe that working as a tight team allows us to have more fun at work!

This is your role

• Provide security awareness and training to encourage secure behavior among our colleagues (sometimes they need a reminder).
• Lead security projects (Hopefully you don’t mind implementing a bug bounty program, or other cyber initiatives).
• Perform security incident investigations, to ensure that security incidents never happen (again).
• Improve our capability to respond to major cyber attacks (we are fans of NIST).
• Provide security support to the business, they have a lot of new ideas (let’s help them make it secure enough).
• Keep yourself and Nordnet up to date with security innovations (let’s do our thing smartly).
• Assists with the implementation of new security regulations (there are a few of them)

You report to Head of Security and will be located in Stockholm together with the rest of the team.

This is you

You understand that communication, collaboration and compromises are they key components of a successful security team. At the same time, you have a pragmatic mindset and smart approach to security risks. You realize that the objective is to achieve adequate security in relation to the risks, not that every risk should be eliminated. Don’t worry, you will be backed by a competent team with a wide variety of skills.

You are a driven coordinator who takes responsibility for the team's success. You’ll have a background in information security or IT-security and have five or more years of solid experience working within the field. We expect that you also have a technical foundation, since we are a digital bank.

You have the ability to communicate information security risk on a business level to management as well as the ability to communicate with techies. We also require that you speak and write English fluently; Swedish is not mandatory but definitely a plus.
