Information Technology Auditor
Nasdaq is now looking for an Information Technology (IT Auditor) Lead Auditor to join our team in Stockholm. You will be a part of the internal audit team, which is located in Stockholm and Vilnius.
Working closely with the core business lines at Nasdaq, the Internal Audit team evaluates internal controls to ensure the company has appropriate controls in place to mitigate the risks that could affect the viability of our business. The Internal Audit team focuses on two areas; Business Auditing and Technology Auditing. As the new IT Lead Auditor, you will be working with projects related to Nasdaq’s businesses, financial records and regulatory responsibilities with our team in Stockholm and Vilnius.
Your role and responsibilities
You will be responsible for planning and executing end-to-end audits, either individually or in small teams. You will assess processes and controls for the organization’s business operations and the underlying information technology.
Using a risk-based approach, you will evaluate department activities to ensure compliance with regulatory and legal requirements as well as the organization’s policies, procedures, and standards.
You will also ensure the effectiveness of internal controls in compliance with corporate objectives and government standards, such as Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) or other regulatory driven control frameworks. Additionally, you will:
· Execute and at times, lead the execution and reporting on the quality and effectiveness of controls across all risk creating areas including, but not limited to operations, finance, regulatory, technology, M&A, and clearing.
· Participate in concurrent projects, apply a solution-based approach to audit scopes and resources, and manage auditees’ expectations and priorities throughout each audit
· Provides an educative and consultative approach when counselling smart control recommendations.
We expect you to have
· Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Information Security, Systems Development or a related discipline.
· Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience.
· Strong understanding of IT processes and application controls
· Professional auditing and/or technical certifications (CIA, CISA, CISM, CISSP)
· Analytical and structured.
· Being able to work independently.
· Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English.
It would be great if you
· Have experience in infrastructure auditing
· Have an interest in audit automation
· Programming skills – e.g. SQL,
