Our Exciting Opportunity
Business Unit Digital Services (BDGS) is in the midst of a transformation to a true cloud native environment. We in Design Systems & Environments (DSE) have the mission to develop and provide an outstanding Cloud and Cloud Native Environments that can be used by all Product Development Units (PDU) to fast and flexible develop and deliver BDGS Products and Services to our customers.

We are looking for Senior Architects who will own, develop and maintain the Cloud and Cloud Native Environment architecture and work closely with the Strategic Architect, product owners and our Programs.
You will
Be part of “Solution Architect Team” responsible for architecture, design and system management of the Cloud/ Cloud Native Environment’s Networks.
Be leading and taking architectural and design decisions for the Cloud Env. Network in close collaboration with Strategic Lead Architect, Cloud Product Owners and DevOps teams, as well as architects and product leaders from the PDUs in BDGS and other Business Units
Translate the Cloud Environment’s roadmap and requirements to architectural updates and break such down to tasks that can be executed on
Be the Security aware and knowledgeable and implement Cloud security architectural point while developing the solutions and architecture
Have fun crafting world class services together with your colleagues!
To be successful in the role you must have
University degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent
Deep understanding of R&D and development processes
Good understanding of Network and Network Fabrics
Personality: Curious, Open minded, Collaborative and Perseverant team member who is eager to learn and have a can-do demeanor
A truly agile mind set by innovating, adapting, and responding to change
Ability to appreciate and build upon different, and often competing, points of view
Ability to see the bigger picture and create a full solution architecture plan for the Cloud Environment as part of the Solution architect team
Excellent communication skills in verbal and written English
Technical skills
You shall have Advanced Networking Competence in the following areas:
IP Fabric technologies for IPv4 and IPv6
Extreme Networks Offerings - Extreme Fabric Automation (EFA)
Pluribus and Juniper Network offerings (e.g. Juniper Contrail)
Network routing protocols (e.g. BGP) + integration with EVPN + VxLAN
Current SDN technologies and trends
Cloud Network Security (Risk assessment, ISO27001 alignment)
Network Automation (APIs, Automation of Network Backend configuration)
IP traffic engineering
Network performance monitoring & analytics
In addition, these proficiencies are required:
Technical Leadership Qualities (work allocation and prioritization)
Excellent Network Troubleshooting abilities
Driving end-to-end technical solutions
Solution scope definition, design and implementation
Evaluation of new technology/technical areas within networking
Interpersonal and team leadership skills
