Job Description


Are you ready for a new challenge as Infrastructure Architect? Working with six Datacenters, 1000+ systems storing 7 million gigabyte in Sweden, Germany & the Netherlands? Then join us!
As Infrastructure Architect you will come to work in an international team, responsible for all Data Center related hosting services and running the virtualization platforms in our own Data Centers. Our strategy is “cloud first”, however, due to local legislation much of our data must be stored on-premise. Therefore, securely operating our own Datacentres in Germany, Sweden and the Netherlands is crucial for us. We are at the beginning of a transition towards a software defined data center and of fully automating our storage solutions. A journey we would like you to actively be part of!
What will you do?
As our Infrastructure Architect you will work on:
designing infrastructure solutions and secure quality of implementation
test and develop new standards following market trends
take the lead in communication of infra design topics towards IT and business colleagues
analyze new solutions from different perspectives (costs, operations, security)
abstract and complex cases, in which you will need a helicopter view to move forward.
writing the Architecture documentation (HLD, LLD, drawings and presentations etc)

Your secure and efficient design, your out of the box thinking and your open mindset, will help us make the difference!
You will be working in close cooperation with Architects focusing on Network, Cloud and Enterprise solutions.


Qualifications


Do you want to use your digital and architectural skills to help us become fossil free in one generation? Do you consider yourself open minded, do you like to think out of the box and exploring new technologies and pro-actively come with suggestion to improve? Then this is your job! To be successful in this position we expect you will need to bring:
Experience in a similar position as Infrastructure Architect or Solution Designer in a large corporate organization
Experience with Hardware, OS, virtualization platforms, DC infrastructure, Cloud Services, SDDC
A love for automation of processes
Good English skills, both written and spoken. Having some skills in Swedish, German, Polish or Dutch would be beneficial
Some experience in project or service management
Certification/experience in Microsoft, VMware, RedHat, ITIL, IPMA, SCRUM or PMA would be beneficial

Location
We are looking for candidates already working and living in Sweden. Ideal location would by our Solna (Stockholm) office, but Gotheburg, Uppsala, Lulea and Umea as location can be discussed. Although most work is being done virtually, a few days per year traveling between European locations is to be expected.
