Infrastructure Automation Engineer

I am Muhammad Raqib Rafique and I am leading Platform Services unit within Data & Analytics IT SE, at Telia Company. My team is responsible for building the Future Analytics Foundation for Telia Company’s Analytics and AI domain. Right now, we are looking for an Infrastructure Automation Engineer to support in implementing resilient modern data and analytics platforms across on-prem and cloud.

As an Infrastructure Automation Engineer, you will drive our journey towards a truly data driven organization enabling DevOps way of working.
You will do so by contributing to building a hybrid IT architecture integrating on-prem with public cloud. You will collaborate with developers and own the “Ops” part of DevOps to ensure that cloud-native workloads are deployed according to IT best practices for security, governance and operations with high degree of automation. You will collaborate with different stakeholders translating their needs in scalable cost-effective solutions.

You like to get things done quickly but do not compromise on quality. Continuously improving what and how you do things comes naturally, you have a passion for technology and eagerness to learn more and deliver effectively.
Your personality:
Structured in your way of working
Ability to work in cross-functional teams, suggesting improvements as and when needed
Good communicator in English, spoken and written.

Your experience:
Developing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) – Terraform preferred
Implementing CI/CD pipelines at scale
Developing cloud-native services with focus on right sizing and cost-efficiency
Network and Security experience working with firewalls, internet gateways etc.
Skilled in Kubernetes, container frameworks and orchestration.
