About the team

As an infrastructure engineer you will develop and maintain the technical platform powering the Tradera marketplace. They are an amplifier for productivity, quality, and innovation across Tradera.

We are looking for people with a background or interest in cloud infrastructure. We would love to hear from you whether you have been working with Kubernetes since its inception, or have just started learning more (perhaps you have been working on a different, related piece of the systems puzzle).

Example of responsibilities

Build, secure and maintain scalable infrastructure for Tradera.com

Support their development teams continuously updating and improving the product and the user experience.

Define and implement new platform initiatives and drive Tradera’s backend stack forward.

Cooperate with their software engineers and product management to keep their backend tools and systems safe to use and easy to maintain to help to improve future generations of Tradera.

Ensure that their users’ experience is the very best it can be.

Who are you?

We believe that you are a curious infrastructure engineer interested in testing your technical skills and problem solving capabilities. Skills and proficiency in one or more of the technologies they work with on a daily basis would excite us, but we value your willingness to learn even more. Traderas infrastructure is currently running in Google Cloud and some core systems are: Kubernetes, MS SQL, Elasticsearch, MongoDb and RabbitMq.

Experience with working on high traffic websites within e-commerce or related industries where security and reliability is of key importance. They are a small and dedicated team with a huge impact and if you value team success and constant learning then you will love working at Tradera!
