Aligning with our business and customer’s needs, we are currently moving towards digital business ready infrastructure, paving the road for a standardised, scalable, and stable networks with resilient Data Centre set-up and a substantial cloud presence. In our Core Network and Data Centre team we design, develop, and maintain network availability and continuity to ensure the capability of passing all necessary traffic under any condition.
As Infrastructure Engineer in Swedbank you have the opportunity to:
- Work with the support contract with a vendor
- Provide technical support for all network customers (internal and external), trouble shooting, diagnosing, and resolving incidents to their conclusion, ensuring adherence to agreed SLAs, and escalating where required
- Design and implement configuration changes on behalf of customers
- Assist with the design of any potential new services
- Acquire the knowledge and readiness to act as On-Call for the services maintained and developed by the team and participate in problem investigations
- Shadow the senior members of the team to adapt to the new network and resilience set up in a seamless way
To succeed in this role, you need:
- Academic degree in IT with focus on infrastructure or other relevant area, or a great reason for not having one…
- At least three years of proven experience and knowledge of routing/switching (Cisco Catalyst, Nexus, and ACI)
- Good knowledge of CISCO networks and tools (Cisco certification, CCNA, is a plus)
- Knowledge of programming and scripting (Python and Ansible)
- Experience of working with change and incident’s ITIL processes
- Knowledge about cloud foundation is beneficial
- Experience in automation of network services is beneficial
- Good cooperation skills and being an excellent team player
- Effective and always looking for possibilities to improve daily routines
- Social, driven who is not afraid of taking on challenging tasks
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to different environments
- Ability to reach out to people in an open, simple, and caring way
- Open mindset with a customer focused approach
- Experience from the agile way of working
- Proficient in English, spoken and written
