We at AFRY former ÅF and Pöyry are now searching for a new consultant with the profile Infrastructure specialist for one of our customers.
The Infrastructure specialist is responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, incident handling, operations and maintenance of systems mainly in cloud platform but also on-prem systems including hardware and software infrastructure.
In this assignment you are hired on a project basis at AFRY, with the ambition to go into an employment at our customer after 9 months.
The customer
St1, is a Nordic energy company with a vision of becoming the leading producer and seller of CO2-aware energy. So far, St1 has bioethanol plants in Finland; an oil refinery in Gothenburg, Sweden; and service stations in Finland, Sweden and Norway.
The cornerstone of our business is the sale of liquid fuels for transport and heating use to consumers and the corporate sector. In the petrol station business, we have St1 and Shell networks, the latter under a license agreement.
Our strong performance in the traditional oil business enables us to invest in the future and to build a solid foundation for realizing our vision through renewable energy. We are already recycling waste for fuel and using wind power to produce electricity. In the spirit of our vision, each of our solutions must be technically and economically feasible and ecologically sustainable – today.
Your main tasks are to:

You will manage operations and projects for a portion of St1 Nordic’s IT Infrastructure to ensure it meets the needs of the business
Be a technical system administrator for St1 Nordic IT infrastructure
Sharing information and provide technical advice to colleagues
You will be expected to maintain expected system uptime and complete projects on time
Manage vendors, contractors and other third parties to improve the IT infrastructure
You will work closely with other IT Infrastructure system administrators to ensure the entire infrastructure is performing
Being part of Developing and updating business continuity and disaster recovery protocols
Sharing information and provide technical advice to colleagues


Who are you?
You are passionate about Cloud/Hybrid IT and its associated technologies with emphasis on infrastructure services. You have ability to quickly learn, understand, and work with new emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions.
You are/have:

Computer Science, software engineer or related degree or certification
Understanding of Cloud/Hybrid IT
Run and maintain all IT infrastructure in cloud and on site, including the Server RoomExperience with server operating systems (Windows and Linux and Kubernetes), scripting, automation tools and monitoring
You need to have wide experience with overall infrastructure components like databases, storage, backup, network (wan/lan), firewalls, monitoring.
Knowledge and Experience of virtual servers and/or containers
Analyzing system logs and identifying possible incidents in IT infrastructure
Knowledge of MS Azure Cloud platform administration, development and configuration, Google cloud is plus.
Knowledge of SCCMParticipation in projects to ensure that the Infra service standards are used.
Functional design, lifecycle management, capacity management, availability management, Incident management, business continuity and security compliance of the service platforms.
Readiness to occasional travel in Nordic countries

5 + years’ experience of maintaining infrastructure services
Fluency in Swedish, Finnish or Norwegian is considered an advantage
