Infrastructure Specialist – focusing on data bases and SQL server
Sobi is a dynamic and growing company with a high pace of change. This is resulting in an increased need for support on the IT infrastructure – this is a new position. We are therefore looking for an Infrastructure Specialist – focusing on DBA and SQL server to join our IT operations team consisting around 10 people. The Position is within the IS/IT department at HQ level. The IS/IT department is fully managed in-house including e.g., architecture, infrastructure, service desk and system support. The position will report to Head of IT operations.
Main areas of responsibility
• Management architecture and installation of systems and infrastructure
• Act as second/third line support for servicedesk with e.g., problem solving, processes and documentation
• Development and management of services, integrations and solutions within and across systems and core IT, including automation and database administration
• Identify improvement areas and lead/support in implementation projects
• Work with validation and validated systems in accordance to Sobi quality system
Requirements
• Some programming experience as well as an understanding of system development in general
• A general solid and relevant experience within IT infrastructure; especially data base administration and SQL server
• Strong problem solving skills, with experience from automation and system integration with a “get things done” attitude
• Preferably experience in working in e.g., SQL, or/and Oracle, Powershell
• Experience from working with Microsoft platform is a strong advantage
• Proven written and verbal communication skills, both Swedish and English
• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or other related degree
