About the role
Within Group IT, the Infrastructure department is responsible for delivering the underlaying Network, Compute and Database platforms for Stena’s business units.

You will be working in the Core Infra Team who is responsible for the delivery of Compute. This includes Server infrastructure such as Data Centers, Servers, Cloud, Storage, Backup, Active Directory, Monitoring, Automation, IT Security etc. On a day-to-day basis we manage, develop and support our systems to stay relevant and secure. And as long as there is a business value there is always room for new opportunities.

As Infrastructure specialist your daily work will be maintaining and developing our Compute platform focusing on Backup, Storage and Server. Your main responsibility will be both strategic and operational to maintain and evolve mainly Backup- and Storage- but also the Server platform.

At Stena we aim to work as closely as possible with other Teams within Group IT to provide as much value as possible to our customers.

About you
We believe you are comfortable working in a genuine team; a good team player who takes caring responsibility for our delivery, share knowledge with colleagues and comfortably communicate at all levels within our organization.

You are capable to organize your own workload, work towards deadlines in dynamically moving situations and to be able to multi-task and you see proactivity as a natural part of your daily work.

We see that you have at least 5 years’ experience working in an enterprise-level server environment with focus on backup, storage and server infrastructure.

- Currently Veritas NetBackup
- Storage/SAN - HPe Storage
- Server Hardware Management - HPe and/or Dell
- VMware vSphere, vCenter, ESXi, vROPS
