Infrastructure specialist with Server and Automation focus

About the role
Within Stena Group IT, the Infrastructure department is responsible for delivering the underlaying Network, Compute and Database platforms for Stena’s business units.

You will be working in the Core Infra Team who is responsible for the delivery of Compute. This includes Server infrastructure such as Data Centers, Servers, Cloud, Storage, Backup, Active Directory, Monitoring, Automation, IT Security etc. On a day-to-day basis we manage, develop and support our systems to stay relevant and secure. As long as there is a business value there is always room for new opportunities.

Your daily work will be maintaining and developing our Compute platform focusing on Server and Automation. You will be responsible for maintaining and evolving the server platform and to automate repetitive operational tasks.

At Stena we aim to work as closely as possible with other Teams within Group IT to provide as much value as possible to our customers.

About you

You have the ability to organize your own workload, work towards deadlines in a dynamic environment, have the ability to multi-task and to see proactivity as a natural part of your daily work. You have an innovative mindset, always aiming to improve and want to make an impact.

We see that you have at least 5 years’ experience working in an enterprise-level server environment with focus on server infrastructure and automation.

Required Skills:

- • Windows Server Infrastructure
- • VMware vSphere, vCenter, ESXi, vROPS
- • Server Hardware Management -HPe and/or Dell
- • Automation mindset working with Powershell


Desired Skills:

- • Ansible
- • Linux
- • Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI)
