About the job
You will be part of the team that is responsible for the business side of the autonomous solutions development. Your responsibility is to make sure that we develop the right products for the market and the customers’ demands and takes the lead on some of these commercial initiatives. Our mission is to secure that Scania has a leading position in Autonomous Transport Solution and to ensure that we are delivering these solutions together with the best suited players throughout the ecosystem.
You will work in an agile way in close cooperation with our Research and Development team developing the Autonomous solution in a partnership with our customers. As Initiative owner you are responsible for leading and coordinating the workstreams within the Scania project teams of autonomous development projects, deployment- and operations to ensure full initiative delivery according to plan.
To succeed you need to have good technical understanding of requirements. The role is cross functional and you will engage and coordinate with required stakeholders within Scania as well as external partners and suppliers. You also have the main responsibility for the collaboration and relationship with the customer throughout the initiative life cycle. As we work in a fast changing and developing area it is important that you thrive in this kind of environment and are good at managing uncertainty and changing requirements and often with tight deadlines.
Your profile
For this role we are looking for a person that is curious and an enthusiastic problem solver with a pragmatic and solution-minded attitude. You have demonstrated proficiency in managing complex cross-functional projects across large organizations, you have been working with development projects and implementations both customer facing and backend.
You need to be highly communicative and can adapt and present your message covering all aspects from internally and technical to an external business oriented audiences with a high degree of creativity and assertion taking the Autonomous business at Scania into the future.
Requirements
• MsC in Engineering or equivalent technical diploma
• Experience of project management
• Strong skills within translating business needs to technical development requirements gained by experience in working with external customer engagements and deliveries and in close cooperation with R&D
• Well positioned to have deep operational and technical discussions
• Drive, lead and motivate stakeholders to deliver towards defined targets
• Previous experience of mining business is meriting
• Strong command, both written and spoken, in English
