Job Description
You who have a passion for quality in package printing & ink technology and likes our motto "protect what's good", we have your new position!Perhaps you work in the ink industry today with a manufacture as technical sales support, and desire to join our international team working with one of Tetra Pak's key technologies.We can offer you an innovative, creative and stimulating work environment, as we need to strengthen our team with another skilled professional.The Printing and Material Treatment group within Development & Engineering / Packaging Material is responsible for developing and maintaining the key technology Printing.Additional responsibilities are implementation of converting strategies for printing equipment (including creasing and cutting tools/equipment), setting process specifications and introducing process control.Implementations of new Prepress and Printing equipment and upgrades together with technical support and training within the competence areas of pre-press, printing and material treatment are also managed by this group.Your most important tasks will be to: Develop, evaluate, and maintain process specifications within the area of ink technology (special focus on Energy curing inks).Validate the activities in coordination with factories, suppliers and other partners.Provide technical support and training to factories.Plan, perform and document technical audits.Support the converting factories in trouble shooting
Qualifications
To be successful as Ink Development Engineer you have at least 3 years experience from practical work within ink manufacturing including installation and "hands-on" experience.A degree in Chemistry, at university level is preferred.Since we work world -wide with support to our factories, this requires a very good command of English, both written and spoken.
You are a self-motivated person with a high inner drive to deliver results but are still able to advise others to use the best methods.You are able to work independently as well as a part of a winning team.You will be travelling (20-30%) and functioning in a global environment.Key philosophy within the group is "freedom with responsibility".
