BACKGROUND
 
Magnus Penker, an internationally acknowledged expert and leading thinker on innovation, founded Innovation 360 Group with Martin Hultqvist, Anges Sävenstedt and Sten Jacobson as co-founders in February 2015 in Stockholm - the city of innovation. The first assignment was in London, manifesting right from the outset, that the outlook and objectives of the firm are truly global.
 
Although global in scope, the company is firmly rooted in the Swedish heritage of strong entrepreneurship, high quality and centuries of sustainable innovation. Just six months after the firm was set up, it was ready to scale up its operations with the accreditation of a number of small independent top consultancies in a network based on the company’s methodology and tools called InnoSurvey™.

Innovation 360 Group helps companies to sharpen their innovation capability and re-innovate their value propositions, speeding up digitalisation (internal incremental/radical innovation) and global go-to-market projects (external incremental/radical innovation) through innovative strategy and business development. We do this by means of research-based innovation methods, assessments and measurements. All based on our unique global innovation database and research in the innovation area.

THE ROLE AS COMMERCIAL MANAGER
 
The commercial manager develops new prospects and interacts with existing customers to increase sales to Licensed Practitioners. The market is global and you will target selected countries to establish new accounts within your assigned area of responsibility. Together with the Management Team, you will set account and territory plans on an annual, quarterly and monthly basis.
 
Initially you will focus on generating new business and you will communicate and build leads by calling and e-mailing prospects found on i.e. LinkedIn. Approximately 15 online sales meetings are held per week to generate new business as well as develop existing clients. You will ensure high post-sales satisfaction by facilitating positive, long-term relationships and high potential for repeat business with Licensed Practitioners. You are responsible for managing the account to fully grow the business and secure the client´s success.
 
* Strengthen relationships and grow organic revenue and profitability.
* Understand the customer’s business and become a trusted advisor. Your aim is to help the practitioners succeed with InnoSurvey™.



The target audience is independent innovation consultants and small consulting firms around the world. Existing references includes NASA Johnson Space Centers former CTO. You will be supported with pre-sales from the Innovation 360 technical team and consultants and you will also be accredited to fully understand the process and concept. 
 
The Commercial Management team is currently being recruited. You will report to the COO and co-founder, Martin Hultqvist and be based at the Stockholm office. You will work closely with the company management team to achieve commercial targets and operational objectives.
 
 
 
QUALIFICATIONS
 
You have an academic background with a master degree in a relevant subject. Sales experience with a strong sales track record.
 
A successful candidate will be:
* An effective communicator, with the ability to actively listen and build relationships.
* Self-motivated, capable of working with limited oversight.
* Entrepreneurial
* A creative thinker with strong analytical skills.


 
The role requires strong abilities to build relationships, listen and negotiating in an international setting. It requires knowledge of principles and methods of selling services, including marketing strategy and tactics as well as sales techniques.
