As an Innovation and Research Specialist at Ejendals, you will be part of a team of 10 people who all work towards the same goal, which is the safety of our customers. You will contribute to our technology and concept development area and be part of a strategic increase of research capacity in gloves and indirectly also shoes. Your main goal will be to further develop the field of technology development for Ejendals to be at the forefront of future market trends and develop even more technologically advanced products.
In your role, you will work with an experienced specialist where you, together, proactively develop alternative materials and technical solutions. In addition to internal contacts such as our own laboratory, product managers and sales force you will also have a lot of external contacts with suppliers as well as at trade fairs and exhibitions, which means that travelling is part of the position to some extent.
You report to our Product Line Director for gloves.
About you:
We are looking for someone who has a higher academic education with a major in material science, polymer technology, electronics or in other way relevant to the position. Deeper knowledge in materials and or textiles / leather are of special interests.
Of course, you are passionate about innovation and product development and you like both hands-on concept development and strategic product and technology planning.
As a person, you are driven, ambitious and analytical. You can work independently or in group and have an open and flexible attitude with the ability to engage people around you.
Corporate language is English, we therefore expect you to be fluent in both written and spoken English.
