Job description

As a innovation buyer, you will be responsible for purchasing within the safety and development area of seatbelts. Together with Autoliv's suppliers and project team, you will work to ensure early involvement regarding innovation and design of the products. You are the link between the project team and the commercial, where you are responsible for optimizing product costs, quality and effective solutions. Further, you are responsible for developing new business partners and managing their involvement in the product development phase regarding new technologies and innovations. In this role, you will also coordinate activities related to technical assessment, quotation management, logistics and marketing.
The position is an interim assignment of 4-6 months. Placement is on site in Vårgårda or Lindholmen (Gothenburg) with the possibility of remote work 1-2 times a week.
We believe you have a bachelor's or master's degree in technology or a related field with broad knowledge and experience in supply chain. We see that you have worked in a similar role as senior buyer, strategic buyer, buyer or a like. Autoliv is an international company and the communication is mainly in English. We therefore assume that you are fluent in English and it is advantageous if you have knowledge in German.
We think that you have worked both strategically and operationally with a strong focus on development and innovation at an early stage. As a person, you are communicative, organized and ambitious. You are curious and take a lot of initiative in your purchasing role. The role requires good collaboration skills and being able to coordinate between different tasks while forming effective and successful work concepts. The position requires good negotiation skills, technical knowledge and an ability to analyze costs.
The position is an interim assignment of 4-6 months starting immediately where you will be employed by Randstad but work at Autoliv as a consultant. Qualifications
* The position requires a bachelor's degree in technology alt. similar work experience.
* Experience in technical purchasing and supply chain for at least 5 years.
* Fluent in English and meritorious with knowledge in German.
