Arbetsbeskrivning
Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.
Our environment and the transport needs of the society are undergoing major changes. Urbanization, climate change and digitalisation are examples of trends that create both challenges and opportunities for the sustainable and efficient transport systems of the future. By understanding and profiting from opportunities in this development, Scania wants to strengthen its position in sustainable transport.
Innovation Office develops new innovations and business opportunities for Scania beyond the company's current business. The work is mostly conducted in project form and ranges from trend and scenario analysis and systems research to exploratory design and business building. The new solutions developed can be aimed at Scania's existing market or completely new customers. The projects often involve colleagues from other parts of Scania and / or other companies as well as representatives of society, academia and research centers. Many projects take place within the framework of government research programs.
Projects can run anywhere from a few months to a few years and involve everything from a few people to extensive consortia consisting of dozens of outside organizations that contribute with their own resources. The work is usually strongly iterative and design-oriented. Design thinking permeates everything we do, from system level to business development.
As an Innovation Lead, your main responsibility will be to lead and facilitate work in the explorative projects that the Innovation Office is running, involving both company external and internal stakeholders and experts.

• Continuously visualize and communicate results through engaging workshops to create insights both within your project and for different parts of Scania
• Support project management in the coordination with project partners and help project participants understand and practice design thinking
You will work with trend analysts, researchers, technical experts, designers who together form a strong team in the work of finding the transport and logistics solutions of the future.
