Innovation Management Professional for Uponor

Would you like to work strategically and operationally within Innovation Management in an international environment? If so we would like to offer you a warm welcome to Uponor.

Our Innovation Management Department is responsible for developing and leading Uponors innovation work, which involves, for example, establishing innovation management systems, where we manage both external and internal ideas and innovations, and also the initiation and running of research projects with various partners/universities. These activities may result in, for example, new or improved products and services, changes to our offering, production and delivery, and also new business models. The degree of innovation may involve anything from small improvements to major fundamental changes. We are now looking for someone who is passionate about Innovation Management and who understands the link between innovation, management structures and business opportunities.

As an Innovation Management Professional you will assume an important and key role within the company and run and lead projects on an international basis in Europe. This means that you will have a lot of contacts, both internally and externally, and that your work will involve various activities to support our long-term innovation and research strategy and vision.

Examples of work tasks included in this role are:
* Driving the development and usage of Uponors global UConnect platform for idea generation
* Acting as project manager for projects initiated within Innovation Management
* Driving and supporting the development of innovation strategies, visions and processes
* Leading workshops and implementing training within the company focused on Innovation Management
* Developing appropriate metrics to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of the innovation process

We are looking for someone experienced in Innovation Management, business development and project management within global companies. You must have a university degree within technology/engineering, marketing or industrial economics. As the work is international, you must be fluent in both written and spoken English.

We are offering an exciting role with an international company where you will be able to influence and drive innovation and research in cooperation with others, both internally and externally. This post will be based at Uponor?s office in Västerås.

It involves business travel about twice each month to other Uponor units and also to network and cooperating partners within the industry. Please enclose your application documents in English.
