Innovation Portfolio Manager


You will get a holistic view of the Technology Development Portfolio. You will develop and maintain organization portfolio overview from different perspectives. In this role you will work closely with the Director - Controlling & Innovation Portfolio. You will collaborate with your colleagues within Technology Development to implement the innovation gating process, to make sure the portfolio is in alignment with the SKF Strategy. On a day-to-day basis you will work with systems and data management.
We are looking for a person who is not afraid to question, innovate, experiment, and move at a fast pace.


What you can expect in the role
• Drive the implementation of the innovation portfolio process in Technology Development organization
• Ensuring innovation gating process is implemented in the different areas of the organization
• Establish and lead the portfolio community in Technology Development
• Steering and continuous improvement of the innovation portfolio process
• Create and maintain a dashboard that will provide the portfolio overview from different perspectives required
• Develop the SKF portfolio management system to enable the innovation gating process
• Provide on a day-to-day basis support and clear direction to the portfolio community


What we are looking for
• University degree in business administration, business engineering or any other relevant area or equivalent working experience
• Experience in portfolio management is a plus
• Professional communications skills as well as interpersonal skills
• Able to make pragmatic proposals while not compromising consistency and details
• Good IT knowledge
• Professional English, both written and spoken

Additional information
This position will be on a local contract in EMEA, preferably located in Schweinfurt, Germany or Gothenburg, Sweden. For the right candidate, any other site in EMEA can be discussed.
