The role as Senior innovation leader for high voltage batteries within the Innovation Lab team is a great opportunity to take the step into our Strategy & Innovation department and contribute to future technology and business direction. You will be a part of a team of extremely competent and highly motivated co-workers, in a forward-thinking and dynamic work environment.
What You’ll do
Your primary responsibility is to advance electric propulsion technology development forward in high pace and with innovative technologies and strategies. Together with the rest of the team you address upstream innovation with maximized accuracy and momentum where ideas can crystallize into concepts using your energy in the most efficient way. Work speed and intensity are essential here: create fast, simulate, and test fast, validate or fail fast, start again. You will also work closely with universities and start-ups securing good and close collaboration between Volvo Cars, the academia and start-up community within HV battery area. You will be performing your work in close cross functional collaboration with our Battery System and Cell ART, Business Owners, suppliers etc.
You will also contribute with a strong sense of innovation culture, business acumen and battery strategy in management forums as well in co-operations with colleagues and team members.
Competence is Important
• M.Sc. or equivalent technical experience
• Experienced in Product Development
• Experienced in High Voltage battery technology
• Experienced in High Voltage cell development
• Beneficial - PhD
• Beneficial - Leadership qualities
